Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art studied to promote relaxation and to encourage meditation. The slow, flowing exercise of the Tai Chi “form” is taught along with several breathing exercises. Tai Chi is often called “meditation in motion” as it encompasses both physical and mental exercise. ONGOING CLASS

This class offers one full hour of “fun, dance & fitness.” Move your body to oldies, pop, show tunes, country, etc. Using light weights, hula hoops, bands, canes & pom-poms. Explore 30+ watercolor techniques from basic washes, wet and dry effects, glazing, lifting out, blending, creating texture, stippling, highlighting, using salt and sponges, to wax resist and more. Practice any skills you already have while experimenting with what the medium offers.

Drawing is fundamental to all paintings and whether you are new to drawing or just brushing up on your drawing skills, this class is perfect for artists of all levels. Charcoal is an inexpensive and fun medium. The lessons are designed to help students learn how to work with charcoal using light and shadow to create a 3-dimensional appearance, learn techniques for capturing the texture and proper perspective of the subject.
