Help Us Keep the Tradition of the Annual Boardwalk Art Show!

    This August we will celebrate the 54th Anniversary of the Boardwalk Art Show. The Show is one of the last Fine Arts Outdoor Shows on the East Coast and continues to attract thousands of art enthusiasts and collectors each year.

    The success of the Boardwalk Art Show more than 50 years ago encouraged local leaders to help create the Ocean City Arts Center. The Center continues to grow and thrive. However, in order to maintain the high level of the Show, the Center needs to sustain and hopefully increase the funds allotted to the Show in its budget.

    During the past several years the downturn in the economy and the higher costs to stay in Ocean City during the August weekend of the show, have forced several artists to leave the Show. This has had a deleterious effect on the funds available to the operation of the Show. Still, many exceptional artists remain and many tourists come to our City to see the Boardwalk Art Show.

    We want to keep this tradition alive and are asking for your help in so doing. We have created a Boardwalk Art Show Patrons program in which we are asking for 100 contributors to donate $25 for a total of $2500. This money, along with the fees from exhibitors will keep the Boardwalk Art Show alive and help the Center continue to operate year-round. Boardwalk Art Show Patrons will be listed on our website and will be publicized at the show on the Boardwalk.
