DIANE TOMASH: RECENT WORKS IN MONOTYPES/OILS
D. Tomash
Tomash is a graduate of The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts
and The Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art. She has taught art throughout southern New Jersey for fourteen years. Her works are held in
Private collections throughout the United States, London, The Print Archives of The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and The Rohm and Haas Corp. in Philadelphia, PA.
She is an affiliate of the Creative Artist Network in Philadelphia, PA. She is a member of The Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club and The American Artists Professional League, both based in New York City. She has shown at The National Arts Club and the Salmagundi. She has won numerous awards within these clubs including The Medal of Honor for Graphics, Pastel, Mixed Media from The Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Club in 2002 and The Anita E. Kertzer Award given by The Pastel Society of America.
Her work is about creating a sensation of place, time, and light. She
strives to evoke emotions through various light qualities and atmospheric conditions. She is included in Who’s Who in America 57th Edition 2002, Who’s Who of American Women, 21st Edition, 1999-2000 and 22nd Edition, 2000-2001. Her work was published in the International Artist Magazine, spring 2003.
