Maggie Ott
is an award winning professional watercolor artist who is a lifelong NJ resident. The medium of watercolor portraits caught her attention at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, but it took almost 20 years for her to return to it. The in-between time was spent raising her 3 daughters, and she took watercolors up again about 7 years ago. She currently teaches workshops in DE, MD, and NJ. In June, she did a plein air workshop in Cambridge on historical High Street. She had a solo show in November at the Dorchester Arts Center and she is currently exhibiting her work at the Worchester Art Council in Berlin, MD. She has an ongoing exhibit at "The Step Above Gallery" also in Berlin, MD. In March, Maggie took a Juror's Choice award at the members art show at the Art Institute and Gallery.
