Bette R. McCarron
Has been involved with weaving, tapestry and other fiber arts for more than 25 years as a member of the Philadelphia Guild of Hand Weavers. She has taught and exhibited with the Guild and won First Place and Special Juror's Award in their 2000 annual exhibit. She was the Coordinator for the Women's Sewing and Craft groups while in the Peace Corp in Grenada in '86-'88 and taught workshops for adults and children in their community centers. A recent graduate of Harcum College as a Veterinarian Technician, her work combines her enthusiasm for travel, animals, and fiber arts.
