John Benigno

is extremely active within the Delaware Valley arts community, serving as a past president of the Philadelphia/Tri State Artists Equity Association, Inc. and a past board member of the Philadelphia Sketch Club.  He is an active member of several other organizations, including the Greater Norristown Art league, the Art Association of Harrisburg, and the Center for the Arts in Southern New Jersey, as well as being a juried member of the Pennsylvania Guilds of Craftsmen.  He teaches photography at the Greater Norristown Art League; and he has juried many photography exhibits, including our photography show last season. Recent exhibits of John's work include showings in the Art of the State Exhibition hosted by the State Museum in Harrisburg, the Lancaster Art Museum, the Art Association of Harrisburg, the University of Delaware, Villanova University, and the Center for the Arts in Southern New Jersey, to name a few.
 His work is represented in many collections, including the Berman Museum at Ursinus College, the Woodmere Art Museum in Philadelphia, the Lancaster Museum of Art, The Noyes Museum in Oceanville, NJ, the Ransom Center at the University of Texas in Austin, and the State Museum of Pennsylvania.
